1) Digital Products + Instant Access
When you purchase an Orient Academy course, you receive immediate access to digital content through our platform (and/or via a delivery link or account activation).
Because this is a digital product, once access is provided, the product is considered delivered.
2) All Sales Are Final Once Access Is Granted (No Refunds)
All sales are final once access to a course is granted. This means that we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges after your purchase has been fulfilled by giving you access to the course.
This includes (without limitation) situations where:
- You changed your mind after purchase
- You didn't finish the course
- You claim it wasn't what you expected
- You purchased by mistake
- You no longer need the course
Once access is granted, the digital product is considered delivered and non-refundable.
3) What “Access Is Granted” Means
“Access is granted” includes any of the following (whether done by you or anyone using your account):
- Your account is enrolled/activated for the course
- You can log in and the course becomes available in your account
- You open any lesson/module/course page
- You stream/watch any video
- You download or open any PDFs, templates, or resources
We may use platform logs and account records to confirm access and delivery.
4) Course Preview Available — No “Not As Expected” Refunds
Many Orient Academy courses include a preview (for example: sample lessons, curriculum/module outline, course description pages, demo videos, and/or promotional content) so you can evaluate the course before buying.
Because a preview is available before checkout, you agree that you cannot request a refund for reasons such as:
- “It wasn't what I expected”
- “I thought it would cover something else”
- “I don't like the teaching style”
- “I don't like the format/length”
- “It didn't match my preferences”
By purchasing, you confirm that you reviewed the available preview and course information (or chose not to), and you accept the course as described.
5) Limited Exceptions (Refunds Only In These Cases)
A refund may be approved only in the following limited situations:
A) Duplicate Purchase
If you accidentally purchase the same course more than once, we may refund the duplicate order.
B) Unauthorized Transaction (Fraud)
If the purchase was unauthorized, we may refund after reviewing evidence (for example, documentation from your payment provider).
C) Verified Technical Failure Caused By Us
If you cannot access the course due to a confirmed technical issue on our side, and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable timeframe after you contact support, we may issue a refund.
Important: Device issues, internet issues, or user error do not qualify as a refund once access is granted.
All exceptions are handled at our sole discretion and refunds may be denied if the claim does not meet the conditions above.
6) How to Request a Refund (If You Qualify Under Section 5)
To submit a request, email info@orientacademy.co with:
- Full name
- Email used at checkout
- Order number / receipt
- Course name
- Reason for the request
If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider and bank.
7) Payment Plans (If Offered)
If you purchase a course using a payment plan:
- You are committing to the full price of the course
- Access may be paused or revoked if a payment fails
- No refunds are provided once access is granted
8) Subscriptions / Memberships (If Offered)
If Orient Academy offers subscription-based access (monthly/recurring billing):
- You may cancel to stop future charges
- Cancellation does not refund the current billing period
- We do not provide prorated refunds
For recurring subscriptions, consumer protection rules emphasize clear disclosure and easy cancellation mechanisms.
9) Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend or terminate access to your account and purchased content
- Submit evidence to the payment processor, including proof of purchase and access logs
Payment processors and card networks evaluate disputes using evidence such as delivery confirmation and usage/access records.
10) Personal License Only (No Sharing, No Resale)
Your purchase grants a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access the course for individual use.
You may not:
- Share login access
- Redistribute content
- Resell or republish lessons or materials
- Copy or record course content for commercial use
Violations may result in termination of access without refund.
11) Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time of purchase is the version that applies to your transaction.
